LUHLOSE ukukhangisa nokugabisa ngezithako zokudla ezihlukile ezitholakala eNingizimu Afrika uhlelo lompheki uZandile Makhoba, owaziwa ngelikaChef Zandi kulo mkhakha wezitshulu, olubizwa ngeMzansi Meets Italian Culinary Experience, olwethulwe ngokusemthethweni ngoMsombuluko.

Lolu hlelo oluhlanganisa uChef Zandi nompheki odabuka e-Italy, uPaul Dukai, luhlanganisa izitshalo nemifino ekhiqizwa ezindaweni ezahlukene KwaZulu-Natal, kanti lubandakanya nabalimi nabadobi.

Echaza ngalolu hlelo uChef Zandi, owazakhela udumo enqoba ohlelweni lukamabonakude iColour Your Plate With Koo kwiSABC 2, uthe lulandelela kusuka lapho kutshalwa khona ukudla, kuze kufinyelele epuletini lokudla.

“Esikhathini esiningi njengabapheki ukudla sikuqala uma sekufinyelele ekhishini, singazi lapho kusuka khona ukuthi kuqale kanjani, ngobani abakuqalile, besebenzisa ziphi izindlela. Uyabona nje ngalolu hlelo, sizimisele ukuqopha ukusuka nokuhlala, kuze kufinyelele epuletini lapho umuntu esekuthola kumnandi, sekudliwa,” kusho uZandi.

Uthi konke lokhu kuzoqoshwa ngenhloso yokuthi kukhonjiswe esiteshini se-internet kuYoutube.

“Okuhle wukuthi sisebenzisana nabalimi abasakhula ngaphansi kwesikhungo uMgibe, esisebenzisana nabalimi abahlukene KwaZulu-Natal. Sizobanika ithuba lokuthi bazibonakalise kulolu hlelo ngokusithatha basibeke ngokuqala kwabo besatshala, kuze kube bayavuna, bese siyazithatha izitshalo zabo siyokwenza izibiliboco zomhlaba, ngazo.”

Uthi isibonelo ngamadumbe akwazile ukuwenza ngendlela ehlukile, esebenzisana noChef Paul. Uthi kukhona lapho bezobonakala beyodoba inhlanzi, ezobuye iphekwe ibe yisibiliboco.

“Sizoyipheka ngendlela ezokwenza nabase-Italy bayithakasele njengoba sihlanganisa la mazwe.” 

Uthe kuzothi uma beqeda ngeziqephu zakuleli, bese beya e-Italy, beyoqhubeka nokuhlanganisa ukudla kwase-Italy nokwakuleli. I-Italy idume kakhulu ngokudla okubalwa kukho iPizza nePasta.

“Zikhona izindlela esingakwazi ngazo ukwenza i-pasta, sisebenzisa izithako zakuleli,” kusho uChef Zandi.
