ISIKHATHI sasebusika yilapho kunomoya owomile, ohwamula umswakama (moisture) ovikela isikhumba, usishiye somile.

Umswakama yiwona ovikela isikhumba ukuze singashiswa yimisebe yelanga. Isikhumba esomile singakudalela izinkinga eziningi njengokuluma, noma siqhayeke sophe, futhi sibe buhlungu.

Isikhumba esomile singagcina siba namashashazi omile, avamise ukuba sebusweni, ezandleni, ezindlebeni nasekhanda, angagcina eseba wumdlavuza uma engelashwa.

Ukunakekela isikhumba sakho, ikakhulukazi kulesi sikhathi, kungakusiza ukugwema izinkinga zesikhumba.


Ongoti bezempilo basicebisa ngamasu awu-7, okunakekela isikhumba sakho kulesi sikhathi:

1. Phuza amanzi anele:
Abantu abaningi bayehlisa ukuphuza amanzi kulesi sikhathi. Abezempilo bathi ebusika umzimba amanzi uwadinga ngendlela efanayo nasehlobo.

Amanzi enele enza igazi lifinyelele kahle esikhunjeni, lihambise nezakhamzimba ezidingwa yisikhumba. Njengoba kubanda nje, ukuzifudumeza ngezinto ezifana nama-heater kuhwamula umswakama.

2. Sebenzisa insipho engasihlukumezi isikhumba:
Insipho enegwebu eliningi iyawususa umswakama esikhunjeni, yingakho umuntu ephasha uma eqeda ukugeza.

Odokotela besikhumba bathi kungcono ukusebenzisa insipho enokhilimu.


3. Sebenzisa izigcobo ezivikela isikhumba:
Ukusebenzisa izigcobo ezishubile nezinamafutha njengoVaselina, ngokunye okungakusiza ukuthi isikhumba sakho singalahlekelwa wumswakama.

Lezi zigcobo zakha ungwengwezi oluvimbela umswakama ukushiya umzimba.

4. Qinisa ekudleni okunempilo:
Impilo enhle yesikhumba incike kakhulu nasekudleni ukudla okunezakhamzimba. Yidla ukudla okunamanzi njengekhabe, utamatisi, no-cucumber, ugweme ikhofi nokunoshukela.

Utshwala kuthiwa bunomthelela ekutheni umzimba ulahle amanzi.

5. Bugqokele ubusika
Ukwembathisa umzimba akugcini nje kuphela ngokuwufudumeza, kodwa kuvikela isikhumba sakho esimweni sasebusika.

Ungagqoka izinto ezifana nezikhafu, amagilavu, amajakhethi nezigqoko ze-wool, ukuvalela umswakama ungahwamuki esikhunjeni.

6. Gwema ukugeza ngamanzi ashisa kakhulu
Amanzi ashisayo asusa wonke amafutha aphezulu kwesikhumba, okuyiwona asivikelayo.

Geza ngamanzi angashisi kakhulu, bese ukhumbula nokugcoba. Ungasebenzisa nezinto ezifana nowoyela bokugeza (bath oils) ukutotosa isikhumba sakho uma ugeza.

Ungakhohlwa yizindebe:

Ongoti bathi umlomo kawunawo ama-sebaceous gland, akhiqiza amafutha esikhunjeni.

Vama ukugcoba umlomo ngezithambisi ezizokuvikela ukuthi ungomi, ngoba umlomo ugcina usuklayeka.
