ESONTWENI esiphuma kulo, bekukhunjulwa abantu ababulawa yisifo sofuba (tuberculosis), umhlaba wonke. Ngeminyaka yama 40s, kuya kuma 60s, isifo sofuba sibulale inqwaba yabantu, ikakhulukazi e-Afrika, ngoba belingekho ikhambi laso.

Yingakho umbhali wezincwadi zesiZulu, ongasekho, uMnu Jotham Mncwango, waKwaNongoma, abhala incwadi esihloko sithi "Namuhla wumngcwabo wami - nawe," ebalisa ngokubhubhisa kwesifo sofuba, ngeminyaka yama-50s.

SIDALWA YINI ISIFO SOFUBA


Kunegciwane elinamandla, elaziwa
ngeMycobacterium Tuberculosis Bacteria (TB), elifike lidlavaze amaphaphu. Leli gciwane, lingasabalala nakwezinye izingxenye zomzimba.

Abanye abantu uma isifo sofuba sesibaxine kakhulu, banikwa ikhefu emsebenzini, nasezikoleni, ukugwema ukuthi abanye abantu bangatheleleki.

Isifo sofuba siyabulala uma ungazinakekeli, ngoba uma usunegciwane lesandulela-ngculaza, nengculaza, igciwane lesifo sofuba, liyacanasa ngoba amasosha omzimba asuke entekenteke.
